[ Friday nite take train from kl sentral.. bertolak at 1030pm. Reach Singapore at 7am. Sunday noon we take train bertolak at 315pm will reach kl at 930pm at kl sentral

hotel hamilton is not a good choice! i think i better advice on this. hotel hamilton is collecting cheap rate as it is cater prostitution activities going on in that area, the room condition (i been there for a work task) may not be what a tourist looking for... hamilton is near city area, but no nearby MRT, this maybe a drawback...
hotel bencoolen is a better location, (http://www.hotelbencoolen.com/), or hotel 81 (next to hotel bencoolen). due to work, i went to hotel bencoolen before, i think the hotel room condition is much better than hotel hamilton...
check out the rate of hotel bencoolen. should not be more than SG$100.

since you all only stay one night, maybe can consider pay a bit more for hotel room...
as for Sloane Court Hotel, though it webpage said it is near Orchard Road, it is NOT TRUE. in fact, even 10 - 15 mins car ride will be consider near Orchard Road, :) so if you got car, it is very near to Orchard, if not, you will be complaining. :)
